How was 2009 for you and your bands? What do you think has been the best thing to happen for the Indian Rock scenario in 2009?
2009 was a very quiet year for both my bands, PINKNOISE and Skinny Alley.
What are your Favorite song / album from 2009?
The Exit Plan - Teddy Boy Kill - we are big fans!
Please share an instance on/offstage that you can’t forget from 2009.
Like I said, it was a quiet year. Nothing memorable seemed to have happened – oh, except that we spent an evening with Anthony Jackson, the legendary bass player (Steely Dan, Patti Austin, Lee Ritenour etc. etc.)
What is your and your band’s plan for year 2010?
We are releasing a live DVD Quirkwork in early 2010 and hope to release The Dance of the Diaspora towards the end of the year. Also exploring streaming live gigs.
If you had to change something from the year gone by what would that be?
Nothing, really – except that I wish we’d played more!
How do you think the Indian rock scene will change from 2010 onwards?
Hopefully, more gigs, venues, larger audiences, more label support.
