‘Pudhu Yugam’ – RADIANCE
Pudhu Yugam, an album created by two budding artists – Jayanth and Lakshman.
This is the second endeavour in the field of Tamil compositions.
We have come together to compose and produce this album. Naming ourselves “Radiance” and having made a foray into the world of musical entertainment with “Anbu Karangal“, our first album was released in October 2008.
Not only do we strive to spread joy with our soulful melodies but also aim to brighten the lives of many slums by teaming up with ‘MaAtrutva’, a non-profit group that hopes to provide basic amenities and uplift the poor. A portion of the profit from the album sales will be used to fund the renovation of slum areas.
We had made a donation to the orphanage — also called as Anbu Karangal — from the sale of our first album.
Team Radiance launched Pudhu Yugam on Sunday, the 12th of July at the Museum Theatre, Egmore. The event was presided over by the famous playback singer and Film Producer S..P.B Charan. With a total of 8 songs, of which two are instrumental tracks, the album also includes talented and budding vocalists such as “Airtel Super Singer 2009″ Winner Ajesh, Vijay Narain, Kedharnath, Divya Vivek, Kaavya Mohan, Srikanth.
