20 August 2009The Resonate Music Award extends deadline to 1st September 2009 and announces partnerships with Rolling Stone magazine, Furtados Music and RadioVeRVeThe Resonate Music Award, a unique opportunity to win a fully funded album recording at Christortion Studios, Bangalore has extended the deadline for entries to 1st September 2009.Deepak, the founder of the award says, “I’d like to clarify some points that have raised questions so far:a) The album is open to bands from all over India – as long as the winning band is willing to arrange for travel and accommodation to record with the world-class facilities of Christortion Studios, Bangalore. To date, entries have been received from Mumbai, Shillong, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Cochin to name a few.b) You can submit entries even if you have 1 song – while 3 songs help us to fully appreciate your music and make a more informed decision, we understand that some bands are not in the position to submit all three.”The Resonate Music Award is also tremendously pleased to announce a media partnership with Rolling Stone India. Rolling Stone will cover the award and carry a feature on the winning band.In a welcome gesture for artists looking to expand their music gear, Furtados Music, India’s foremost music store, will offer a discount of 10% to all artists that submit entries. This can be used at any Furtados store across India and on all purchases.
