I must be doing something right , looks like the metal gods are pleased with this blog :P . Mangalore based “metal Farmer” Pritham D’souza (a.k.a Morbid Pitbull)  has dedicated a song to IRMP3.com titled ‘Much Obliged’ . What else ?  he has also promised to give me some free vegetables if ever I meet him in person :) , I am ‘much obliged’ , thank you Morbid Pitbull . Hope this blog will encourage more farmers to discard the ploughs and pick up guitar to churn out melodies :D

Myndsnare is saying goodbye to India, Yes! You heard it right, One of the best Technical death metal bands of our time is bidding goodbye to India after one last gig next week. The Myndsnare trio KP, Sandesh and Yasmin are headed to L.A to study music. We should see an improved Myndsnare in 2 years time .

Larva - Rat kingRat King, released “Seaman Sessions remix” of ‘In Blood & Feculence we unite’ for free downloads on their gimmesound.com page. Watch out for Rat King’s second album Larva, which is scheduled to release on ‘roadcrew records’.

Hindi rock band Prayag will give away their debut album for ‘free downloads’. According to the blog posted by the band, Prayag seems to be fed up with corporate crocodiles, hence they are going the DIY way.

Calcutta based alternative rockers ‘The Supersonics’ released their debut album ‘Maby Baking’ on Aug 7th, which will be followed by a nation wide tour. More details here.

Motherjane will rock at Java Indonesia tomorrow (8th August) at the Java Rockinland, along with heavy metal super bands like Mr Big. Who says Indian bands can’t go International?
