Nikhil and Jaleebi Cartel win 'South Asian Soloist/Band' at Sutasi09
OK ! i pushed the pause button on sutasi a while ago now, and haven’t really followed it since they don’t have sexy Kareena Kapoor on the show (Yeah yeah MTV Rock On) 
. Anyways just for the records, Nikhil D’Souza from Mumbai won the Singer/Songwriter slot for South Asia (other nominees were Sid Coutto(Ex-Zero), Caralisa Montiero, Joshua Queah) Also surprisingly Jaleebi Cartel the electronica giants from New Delhi secured the South Asia Band winner berth to compete against other Asaian regional winners (Other Indian Bands competing for the spot were Cassini’s Division, Swarathma, East India Company)

Update: Launchpad III finalist Cassinis Division also made it to the Sutasi finals by winning the wildcard entry . I think Sutasi 09 just got interesting
