SOULMATE , the two peice blues rock band from Shillong ( Rudy Wallang and Tipriti ’TIPS’ Kharbangar) India released their debut album titled ‘SHILLONG’ in 2005 via ‘Only Much Louder’ records. This is one of the classic masterpiece , yet a rare find. If any of you readers know how to get this album please let me know.

Fabulous.I love the vocals.I am Malaysian but studied in India and did the Jazzyatra a few times.Music standards(western I mean,eastern,there is no comparison) have improved by leaps and bounds.I have recommended the music to a few musician friends.Soulmate now has a few fans in Malaysia.Keep on rocking

This is brilliant stuff. I got to listen to the latest Soulmate album (which was the first time I heard about this band) from a friend in Beirut who passed a copy on to a mutual friend in Dubai. It’s a good blend of drums, guitar and vocals. Keep up the good work and let’s have more such from India.
